With Blue Access for MembersSM and the BCBSTX mobile app, your benefits are at your fingertips, wherever you are. Our online tools and app help you stay informed and better manage your health, wellness and benefits.

Whether you connect on your computer or on your smartphone, you can:

  • Find an in-network doctor, hospital, urgent care facility or mental health provider
  • Check the costs and quality of doctors and services covered under your plan
  • Check the status or history of a claim
  • Request a temporary ID card or save a digital copy to your phone

    SPEAKER 1: This is Kate. Kate is an energetic, hardworking manager, but is stifled by her seasonal allergies.

    Luckily, Kate has the mobile app from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas on her phone. She can find an in-network provider nearby.

    Kate doesn't have her ID card with her. But no worries, she can access her ID card with a simple click and add it to her digital wallet for future visits.

    Kate can check how much her visit cost on her phone. Her claims information will be available soon after her original appointment.

    She can even download her explanation of benefits, which is a statement that shows how her claim was process. Kate can't control when she gets sick or injured, but the mobile app from Blue Cross and Blue Shield can help her access care.

    Looks like her allergies aren't getting the best of her. Just in time, too.
