Your HealthSelectSM medical plan includes a wide range of services to support your health at every stage of life.

Preventive care for women
HealthSelect medical plans cover most preventive care, including annual well-woman exams and preventive screenings like mammograms and colonoscopies, at additional no cost to you.
If you are enrolled in HealthSelect of Texas®, you must have a PCP on file with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) to coordinate your care and make the most of your benefits. Learn more about choosing a PCP.
Speak with your PCP about screening recommended for women in your age group.

Mental health support
Your plan includes care for mental health concerns like depression, anxiety and drug and alcohol issues, including mental health Virtual Visits through MDLIVE® and Doctor On Demand®, and online, coach-supported mental health programs through Learn to Live.
- Virtual Visits are covered at 100% if you are enrolled in HealthSelect of Texas, HealthSelectSM Out-of-State or HealthSelectSM Secondary.
- If you are enrolled in Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM, Virtual Visits are covered after you meet your deductible, with 20% coinsurance after that.
- Learn to Live is available to eligible participants at no additional cost and includes modules for improving your sleep and managing stress, anxiety and depression.

Care management
If you are dealing with a new diagnosis or need help understanding a new treatment plan, BCBSTX care management clinicians can provide extra support at no additional cost. The Texas-based clinical team consists of nurses, social workers and mental health clinicians who can help you with your unique needs and challenges.

Heart health support
Hello Heart is a program focused on cardiovascular health that can help women prevent or decrease the development of advanced heart disease and other cardiovascular conditions. For women who are pregnant and eligible for Hello Heart, you also have the option to enable Pregnancy Mode to support heart health during pregnancy with pregnancy-specific blood pressure tracking and tips.
Diabetes support
Your plan includes resources and benefits for diabetes management, support and supplies. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have had the condition for a while, eligible participants can access a team of registered nurse care management clinicians at BCBSTX who can answer questions about diabetes. You also have access to diabetic supplies through the HealthSelect Prescription Drug Program (PDP).
Your plan also includes Omada® for Diabetes, a digital diabetes management program that delivers personalized health coaching and education to help you manage diabetes. Participants with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes are eligible to participate if they are enrolled in a HealthSelect medical plan, including Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM or HealthSelectSM Secondary, are age 18 and older and are living in the U.S.

Pelvic floor health
Hinge Health offers a virtual pelvic health therapy program for women. Because pelvic floor conditions vary from person to person and can happen at any age, this program offers personalized treatment for:
- bladder and bowel control,
- pelvic pain and
- pregnancy and postpartum-related pelvic dysfunction.

Maternity care and wellness
Planning for pregnancy or already expecting? Your HealthSelect plan includes maternity benefits to support your care from pregnancy through postpartum.
You have access to:
- care management high-risk OB clinicians who are registered nurses specialized in providing support through pregnancy and postpartum,
- mental health support for perinatal and postpartum depression through mental health Virtual Visits and
- support through ProgenyHealth for babies admitted to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
