Provider Finder can help you lower your health care costs and save money

If your primary care provider or specialist orders a test or procedure, you can use Provider Finder® to search for in-network providers and get cost estimates for your out-of-pocket costs before you get care.
Start using the cost estimator tool in Provider Finder:
- Log in Blue Access for MembersSM. Note: If you don’t have an account, select “Create an Account.”
- Go to Provider Finder. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Medical” option under Find Care on the right-hand side of your dashboard. Then click “Find a Doctor or Hospital.” to launch Provider Finder.
- Search for your procedure. Under the “Browse by Category” section, choose “Cost Estimates,” and select the procedure you’d like to search from the list. If you know the name of your procedure, you can type in a specific search term instead.
- Review and compare your search results. Search results will show in-network health care providers who perform the procedure. You will be able to see the facility/provider name and your estimated out-of-pocket cost for each available provider. You’ll also see if the procedure and provider are eligible for HealthSelectShoppERSSM rewards.
- Select a provider. Click on a provider for a cost breakdown of the service, including both your out-of-pocket costs and the cost to your plan. You’ll also find information like:
- Provider Highlights, including contact information,
- Ratings & Reviews,
- Specialties and Expertise,
- Awards and Recognitions. including quality designations and
- Affiliations with hospitals and medical groups.
Remember: Even if a facility is in the HealthSelectSM medical plan network, the doctors, anesthesiologists, radiologists and other providers who practice at that facility may not be. It's important to find out if all your providers are in-network before scheduling a surgery or procedure.
